Intermediate Level Cebuano Course

This class is the second of a three-part series of guided lessons which will help non-Cebuano speakers learn to use common words, phrases and sentences spoken by Cebuanos in their day-to-day interactions. This class employs moderate level learning with emphasis on expansion of vocabulary base.

  1. Review of the Survival Cebuano Beginner’s Class and Getting to Know one Another 
  2. The Cebuano Grammar  1 –Connectives and its usage in the sentence 
  3. The Cebuano Grammar 2 – Adverbs and Suffixes 
  4. Giving Directions, Commands and Requests  
  5. Sharing Opinions and Describing Emotions and Feelings  
  6. Oral Communication using Cebuano Words

Master Teacher I Odilon Mambaje, or ‘Teacher Odie’ to his students, is a native Cebuano with more than 13 years of teaching experience. As a Junior and Senior High School teacher of Anglo-American Literature and Oral Communication, Teacher Odie is a staunch advocate of campus journalism which empowers students to raise their voices and engage in sociopolitical issues in their communities.
