Master Teacher I Odilon Mambaje, or ‘Teacher Odie’ to his students, is a native Cebuano with more than 13 years of teaching experience. As a Junior and Senior High School teacher of Anglo-American Literature and Oral Communication, Teacher Odie is a staunch advocate of campus journalism which empowers students to raise their voices and engage in sociopolitical issues in their communities. While Cebuano comes from Cebu, its usage spreads far beyond the region, spreading throughout the islands of Visayas and Mindanao, making it the second most used language in the Philippines just behind Tagalog.  Teacher Odie is currently taking his Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision.
