This 6-week class sessions is intended as a beginner’s level course which covers the following:

Session 1: Greetings and Basic Conversations

  Ako si Maria.

         Magandang Araw!

         Kumusta ka?

 

Session 2: Numbers, Months, and Colors

Isa, Dalawa, Tatlo (One, Two, Three)

         Enero, Pebrero, Marso (January, February, March)

         Pula, Dilaw. Asul (Red, Yellow, Blue)

 

Session 3: Questions, Date and Time

     Ano? (What?)

         Ika-pito ng Marso 2022 (March 7, 2022)

         Alas Otso ng gabi (8:00 o’clock in the evening)

 

 

Session 4: Nouns and Pronouns (Family, Friends, Places, Things, Animals, Events, Feelings and Emotions)

  Maria.

         Masaya.

         Siya ang aking ina. (She is my mother.)  

 

Session 5: Simple Verbs, Adjectives and Parts of the Body

Siya ay maganda. (She is beautiful.)

         Takbo. (Run.)

         Ilong (Nose)

    

Session 6: Common Phrases, Questions, and Directions

Tulong! (Help!)

What? (Ano?)

Kaliwa at Kanan (Left and Right)

Description

Teacher Janeth is a licensed teacher. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education with a specialization in Filipino. She recognized her passion for teaching at a young age, and it became her driving force to chase her career. In 2020, she began working as a Learning-Support Aide Teacher in a public school. She also worked as a substitute teacher in one of Davao City’s finest schools, teaching Preschool and Primary students. She currently tutors Filipino, Mother Tongue, English, Math, and other subjects.
