Filipino Language Beginner Level by Jeffrey Manahan (Oct 25/26)


This 6-session course beginner class is specifically designed as a fun and educational way of introducing the Filipino language to anyone. These lessons are made to ensure that all students can effectively equip themselves to converse in basic Filipino. From the basic greetings, introduction, asking around and up to to doing your own shopping; these are .what you can learn from these lessons.

Tagalog 101 – Beginner Class follows the same lesson plan for both kids and adults, though the level of difficulty and inclusion of topics differ.

Jeff was born and raised in the busy & bustling city of Manila, Philippines; truly a certified Tagalog by heart, mind and soul! He is an Executive Chef and a Business Consultant by profession backed up with more than 24 years of experience, with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Philippine Women’s University . He is TESOL certified from ITTT, New York and he also has a Master’s Degree in Theology, Divinity and Christian Counseling from Send a Light Bible College, Philippines. Despite his culinary & hospitality background, he love teaching and sharing his knowledge and experiences to anyone willing to learn. He exercises a lot of patience towards his students and makes it to a point that he can give them the best care and attention at all times. He love challenges and details because it inspires him to be more precise and efficient. It has been said, “Love your work, and you don’t have to work another day”. That’s why his fervor is to be of service to anybody who needs it, for it easily gives him all the needed determination to be at his best at all times.
