Ilocano Language for Beginners Part 2

Ilocano is the third most-spoken native language in the Philippines. It is spoken by approximately 11 million Filipinos mainly in Northern Luzon and several parts in Tarlac, Zambales, Aurora, and Nueva Ecija. It has slight mutual intelligibility with the Balangao language and the eastern dialects of the Bontoc language in the Mountain Province.

This 8-week program is the continuation of the first Ilocano beginner program. It includes emphasis and practice on grammar patterns, vocabulary expressions in oral communication, sentence construction and student interactions. At the end of the program, the participants will acquire more language skills needed to survive and communicate in the community of native Ilocano speakers.
