Kapampangan Language for Beginners (6 Weeks)

Kapampangan is one of the eight major languages of the Philippines. It is the primary language of the and predominant language of the entire province of Pampanga, southern Tarlac, northeastern Bataan, as well as some municipalities in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Zambales.

This 6-week Kapampangan Beginners Course will enable the participant to pronounce and read Kapampangan words correctly with the help of marking devices. The class is designed for non-Kapampangan speakers to learn the basic Kapampangan sentence and construct their own.  The class with also explore the Kapampangan heritage and culture including its culinary heritage.

What This Class Covers

Week 1:    Self-introduction, Greeting and Kapampangan Vocabulary

Week 2:    Overview of Pampanga and its language

Week 3:     Family, House, and Community

Week 4:     Survival Kapampangan

Week 5:    Kapampangan Culture, Heritage and Cuisine

Week 6:    Immersion: Role-Playing
