Filipino National Artist by Joseph Moral Alfelor

This course is an overview of Contemporary arts in the Philippines, Filipino National Artist as its main proponent, art forms from different regions and local materials used in art. This course will focus mainly on the importance and influence of contemporary arts in the Philippines.

Through the six hours of this course, students will be expected to:
Learn how to make an art and understand its importance in life.
Understand and appreciates the importance of a masterpiece in every arts of every region.
Compares forms of arts from the Regions in the Philippines.
Know and identify the Philippine National Artist.

This course will be conducted as lectures through Suyomano’s Google Meet account on a weekly basis for six weeks. Participants are expected to log in on time and actively participate in the course.
